875 North Michigan Avenue

Locally known as the Hancock Tower, this iconic skyscraper is the favorite site of native Chicagoans. It is the fourth tallest building in Chicago and located centrally in downtown. It's unmistakable design and its status as the fourth tallest building in Chicago allows it to be seen for miles around.

What makes the Hancock Tower truly unique is 360° Chicago, a massive observatory on the 94th floor of the building. You will be surrounded by windows while taking in a magnificent panoramic view overlooking all of Chicago! Overall, 360° Chicago has more floor space, and is less crowded than other observation decks in the city, making it a popular spot for locals. For an additional fee, 360° Chicago features TILT, an enclosed platform that tilts out over Michigan Avenue, letting you look down almost 1,500 ft. onto the streets of the city.

Experience 360° Chicago

Live Like a Local

While us Chicagoans truly love Millennium Park and Bear tailgates, we encourage you to explore the city, make new friends, and see the city like a local. We encourage you to check out different neighborhoods, eat at amazing restaurants, and live like a Chicagoan during your stay. Take a look at some of our favorite things to do in our downtime.

Drink Local

From the stockyards to the Wrigley bleachers, Chicagoans are a thirsty bunch. Over the past few years, the city has seen a boom in local breweries and distilleries. Peppered throughout the city, breweries like Goose Island, Half Acre, Revolution, Off Color, Metropolitan, and Pipeworks churn out world-class beers. Similarly, distilleries like Letherbee, Few, CH, and Chicago Distilling Company are producing amazing gins, vodkas, whiskeys, and Malörts. Take a pilgrimage to the source for unique facility tours or find your favorite local drink at one of the city's countless bars.

Eat Local

The heart and soul of Chicago can be found in the city's diverse, delicious, and amazing restaurants. From our neighborhood hot dog stands (no ketchup!) to Bavette's Chicago cut ribeye to Alinea's world-renowned molecular gastronomy, the Chicago's dining culture covers every price point, style, and region. Be sure to check out Randolph Street's famous restaurant row, Logan Square's hipster dining haven, or River North's energetic dining district. From tacos to tiki, Chicago has it all. Come hungry.

Roast Local

Not unlike the city's beer and distilling scenes, Chicago coffee culture has seen a recent renaissance. Small artisanal roasters like Intelligentsia, Dark Matter, Metropolis, Bridgeport Coffee Roasters, and Gas Light specialize in a spectrum of delicious blends and single origin offerings. We are also located two blocks away from the new Starbucks Roastery. Pop into any of these coffee shops and be blown away by the nuanced flavors of Chicago's third wave roasters.

Dance Local

Chicago will forever be known as the city where the blues went electric. While Chicago blues were born in the Delta and grew up on Maxwell Street, they currently live at Buddy Guy's Legends, Kingston Mines, the Chicago Blues Fest, and the cozy, welcoming Rosa's Lounge. Put on your dancing shoes, order an Old Style, and take part in one of Chicago's most esteemed traditions.
